Additional Extracurriculars: UCSD Mens Club Water Polo
Playing on the UCSD Club Water Polo team helped me develop into an effective communicator and leader.
Being a part of the club water polo team at UCSD helped me develop into an effective communicator and leader. It taught me that the key to effective teamwork is communication. Without the proper amount of coordination, none of our plays would work as planned. When we all were working together, we were more effective than if we were all working alone. Oftentimes, situations required me to look at the big picture of what was going on in our games and relay information to my teammates while they focused on other issues. This developed my quick problem solving skills as well as my ability to communicate quickly and as efficiently as possible. Competing on this team helped me become a better rounded individual by enhancing my communication and leadership skills which will help me thrive in a professional work environment.
